What is Phone Verification?

Written by Alexandre Devlin

Phone verification is the process of confirming your registered mobile number via a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS. Verifying your mobile number ensures secure account access and personalized support.

To complete verification:
● Enter your registered mobile number.
● Receive a one-time password (OTP) via SMS
● Enter the code in the verification field.
● A confirmation message will appear once verified.

📌There will be a 6-digit verification code that will be sent to your phone. The code is only valid for 10 minutes, and you have up to 5 attempts.

If you encounter issues: (Troubleshooting Tips)
● Double-check that your number is correct, active, and capable of receiving SMS.
● Look in your spam or junk folder for the phone verification message.
● Verify that the verification code is only good for a certain amount of time. It will expire, and you will have to request a new one if you take too long to enter it.
● If the link has expired, reinitiate the process via the pop-up; wait briefly before requesting a new code.
● At times, there may be a delay in phone verification delivery during busy periods. It could be helpful to wait a few minutes and attempt sending the code again.
● Ensure that you are not using a VPN or proxy; they could be preventing the procedure from finishing by interfering with the site's ability to send you an email or identify your location.
● Make sure the network connection on your device is stable.
● Refresh the application or browser if the code field doesn’t respond.
